Parrish To Injured Reserve

Updated: September 20, 2011

Unfortunate news came out regarding wide receiver Roscoe Parrish’s ankle injury today, as the Bills announced that he has been placed on injured reserve, ending his season. It’s also a huge blow to Parrish’s future with Buffalo, as he is a free agent at the end of the season. With the other emerging wide receivers currently on the team, I would guess that it’s unlikely that he’ll return to the team.

University at Buffalo alum Naaman Roosevelt has replaced him on the roster, and will more than likely take over as the team’s fourth receiver. Expect him to get the reps that Ruvell Martin was getting last week after Parrish’s injury.

The Bills also added rookie guard Keith Williams to the practice squad. He was drafted by the Steelers in the sixth round in this year’s draft, coming out of Nebraska.
