Bills Have 7th Most Offseason Money

By
Updated: March 11, 2012

According to our friends over at Pro Football Talk:

[Editor's note:  The following list shows the cap space for each team, as of Sunday, March 11.  Transactions occurring after 4:00 p.m. ET on Friday, March 9 are not reflected.  For example, the Vikings will have more space as of Monday, due to the termination of the contracts of several players.  Also, the Jets will have more cap space, given the extension of Mark Sanchez's contract.  The numbers is based on the 2012 unadjusted cap of $120.6 million, any 2011 carryover, any adjustments, and franchise tenders.]

The Bills enter the 2012 Free Agency week with 30.8 million to spend.

This would be before a tender to OG Kraig Urbik and OG Chad Rinehart.

Or a potential resigning of LB/S Bryan Scott or OT Demetrius Bell

What do you guys feel the Bills should do with the money?

Go out and get either Vincent Jackson or Colston and sign Kameron Wimbley when he gets cut from Oakland. At some point in the season extend Freddy.

Extend Byrd and Levitre, then go out and get a decent speed receiver (L. Robinson or Meachem)...Urbik and Rinehart would be nice to have back. I'd say get a pass rusher but don't think Mario is worth 15mil per year and Mincey is a one year wonder (Freeney would be nice)
