Buddy Nixon’s Buffalo Bills 7 Round Mock 1.0

Updated: February 28, 2012

Round One Pick #10 – Justin Blackmon WR – Oklahoma State

Yes you heard it here first. I think he falls to 10, and we would be lucky to have him. Him not running at the combine didn’t help his stock, he measured in the smallest WR since Ted Ginn to be projected in the top 10. He plays bigger than his size, and would be a dynamic weapon along side hopefully resigned Steve Johnson.

If he doesn’t fall – Floyd or Reiff will be the pick.

Round Two Pick #41  - Whitney Mercilus DE – Illinois

A true big bodied, pass rushing DE. The bills can take a risk in the second round on a one year wonder, he worked out well, and could be a big impact player. With all the DE end talent in this draft, there are players bound to fall. If he is gone, I hope that Curry or Perry would be there to be taken.

Round Three Pick #72  - Bruce Irvin OLB - West Virgina

A true strong side linebacker who can also rush the passer. With Brown and Lewis off the board, this is where Irvin is expected to go, he might get a boost with his 4.45 forty time. Many say he solidified his status as an early third round prospect. He is fully expected to stand up and play OLB.

Round Four – Kirk Cousins QB – Michigan State

Round Four - Michael Egnew TE - Missouri

Round Five - Cliff Harris CB - Oregon

Round Five – Marquis Maze WR – Alabama

Round Six – Andrew Datko LT – Florida State

Round Seven – Sean Cattouse S – California
